Environmental Scientific Group’s (UK) Air and Emissions division has undertaken monitoring of releases to atmosphere at over 25 industrial plants throughout Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Middle East. The work is largely on behalf of a major multinational company with worldwide assets. As part of its environmental undertakings their client is committed to establishing and benchmarking emissions at its interests around the world. Fundamental to the project is the quality of the measurements. Environmental Scientific Group (ESG) has been able to offer a comprehensive service to accredited quality standards which has not been available locally.

Operating remotely from ESG’s UK base has provided major challenges in terms of logistics, equipment maintenance and staff experience. ESG has approached this work by careful planning and preparation, the deployment of highly qualified and motivated staff with a fully equipped transportable mobile laboratory and a strong relationship with reliable logistics partners. This has enabled ESG to meet the client’s expectations and to deliver a high quality service even in the most remote and challenging working environments. The project has taken ESG’s teams to distant locations in Iraq, Pakistan, Nigeria, Zimbabwe and elsewhere in the developing world. Their experiences mean that they are well prepared to undertake environmental monitoring wherever clients may need it. When ESG commit to going the extra mile to satisfy their clients, they certainly mean it.
