Envirosoft (UK) has released the latest version of CEMSuite, its emissions data logging software. CEMSuite Power has been released in response to the arrival of the Large Combustion Plant Directive (LCPD) and a need to generate complex and time consuming reports to the Environment Agency.
CEMSuite Power has a data presentation and graphing module along with a reporting module that enables users to print out reports and export data to other applications. The program also incorporates a QAL 3 module for automatically capturing and storing zero and span check data from analysers and creating Control charts such CUSUM or Shewhart.
In addition, CEMSuite Power incorporates our advanced LCPD module which uses emissions and process data to create complex reports at the press of a button. The module can create daily, 48 hourly, monthly and annual reports and report using single fuel or multi-fuel firing and can create ELV’s based on fuel type or combinations of fuels or based on the calorific value of the fuel.
The LCPD module has the ability to apply logic to complex issues such as start-up and shut down criteria for reporting. It can be programmed to take into account and report any requirements placed on an operator by the EA.
CEMSuite Power can use predictive emission monitoring algorithms to calculate mass flow and apply it to emissions data to report in mass units and can predict the concentration or mass of species such as CO2 from relevant data. The program can capture data from all available analysers and can acquire process data from DCS and PI Historian systems.
There has been a wide uptake of CEMSuite Power from the generation industry and we have systems installed at Centrica, RWE npower, ESB, Scottish and Southern, and Scottish Power locations. LCPD reporting manually can be a very time consuming and fraught business with operator’s trying to tie together data held in a variety of sources.
CEMSuite Power gathers together this data in real-time and creates full reports in a few seconds.
