English local councils are handing out £7 million worth of grants to organisations that can ‘reduce the impact of air pollution on public health’. The £7 million question is: how can English local councils pinpoint the affected areas without spending a huge part of their budgets on costly hyperlocal monitoring?

AQMesh is a globally renowned small sensor air quality monitoring station; they now offer a package tailored to the needs of the English councils who can now collect the requisite air quality measurement data accurately, reliably and within budget. The package consists of two AQMesh pods measuring NO, NO2, O3 and PM, a pair of smart solar packs to provide autonomous power – and enough data, SIMad n replacement sensors for the next four years. This not only ensures accurate air quality data, but it offers a cost saving in excess of 10%; AQMesh already claim that their 2022 prices are as high as 25% more cost effective than their competitors’ over a four-year period. This is a perfect time for England’s councils to benefit from AQMesh’s economical air monitoring system, whilst gaining government funding.

AQMesh has been proven globally in a wide range of real-world environments and conditions. Their team is the most experienced in the small sensor market and have supported many air quality networks over the last decade, such as the highly innovative and successful Breathe London pilot.

When the 4-year support package comes to an end, operators will still own the pods outright and have access to AQMesh’s highly reputable customer support, product performance and proven product longevity. AQMesh pods come with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, remote diagnostics, unlimited remote firmware and gas algorithm upgrades as well as unsurpassed remote technical support, included for life in the purchase price.

The closing date for local councils to apply for a share of a UK government’s £7m grant is 23rd September and the AQ Mesh’s 4-year support package will be available until 9th December 2022.
