Reducing Organic Solvent Emissions

Smart Caps, available through Hichrom (UK), are designed to protect health and encourage good housekeeping for those working with organic solvents. Solvent Waste Caps have been cleverly designed to allow waste solvents to enter into waste solvent containers, whilst preventing volatile solvent vapours escaping from the bottle or drum into the atmosphere.  Solvent Healthy Caps fit onto solvent storage bottles and drums. The design includes a check valve, which allows air to enter into the container but reduces harmful solvent evaporation from it, protecting health and keeping solvent concentrations accurate and contamination free. Smart Caps are available to fit a wide range of bottle and drum types and sizes and can be supplied with multiple connections to accommodate multiple inlets or outlets.
