Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Conference (IAPSC) to be Held at AQE 2017

The Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Conference (IAPSC) is a twice-yearly, one-day conference organised by leading environmental consultancy, Ricardo Energy & Environment. The 2017 conference will be held at the Telford International Centre on the second day of the Air Quality and Emissions Show on the 25 May 2017.

IASPC is aimed at organisations involved in the monitoring and management of air pollution, from local authority personnel in environmental health, pollution control and planning through to industry and academia. It provides a rare forum for delegates from across the sector to share expert insight on new developments and best practice in air quality assessment and control. IAPSC has its origin in the 1960s as a forum for Local Authorities participating in national air pollution monitoring programmes (at that time, primarily for smoke and sulphur dioxide), and is led by an elected agenda committee from across the sector.

The conference will feature nine expert speakers who will give timely and topical guidance on overcoming the challenges facing the air quality community. Topics will be based around air quality measurement and monitoring.

Combining the conference with the 2017 Air Quality and Emissions Show will provide delegates greater visibility of the technical solutions available for air quality monitoring, testing, analysis and treatment and more opportunities to discuss key issues with those at the forefront of the industry.
