The 26th global gathering for professionals specialising in mountainous environments to take place in France in 2024

The next Mountain Planet conference and exhibition will take place from 16 - 18 April in Grenoble, the self-proclaimed Capital of the Alps. The Mountain Planet exhibition has been held every 2 years since 1974, it includes a comprehensive program of meetings and 50,000m2 of exhibits, featuring 900 exhibitors and 40 official, overseas delegations that focus on how to overcome environmental and safety issues in mountainous locations.

Some of the key topics highlighted will include water and waste management and technology, command control, monitoring and measurement systems, safety and rescue equipment, snow removal equipment and road maintenance, biodiversity and the environment, and energy/energy transition.

Now in its 50th year, Mountain Planet 2024 will include several new innovations to further enhance the event, this includes a start-up village, a tailored mobile app., and exhibits and round table discussions on solutions to achieving sustainable development challenges and the latest technical innovations of interest to anyone working on sustaining the majesty and beauty of a mountain environment, while harnessing the opportunities for commerce and industry in mountainous regions across the planet.

The event joins together all-season mountain professionals and urban area developers. A wide variety of industry sectors is represented at Mountain Planet, from global leaders to start-ups, including SMBs and professional bodies.

The last Mountain Planet, held in 2022, welcomed mountain ecosystem players from across the globe; over 23,000 key players, from 71 nations, attended the exhibition including manufacturers, elected officials, local authorities, accommodation providers, ski area operators, among many others.
