Registration Opens for Wwem 2008. Meet the Wwem Team at Ifat Hall A4 Stand 138

Apr 02 2008

The organisers of WWEM 2008 (Water, Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring) have announced that online visitor registration for the November event is now available at www.wwem.uk.com.
Entry to WWEM 2008, which takes place at the Telford International Centre, will be free to all Pre-Registered visitors (saving a daily admission fee of £20)Pre-Registered visitors will be entitled to free onsite parking, free lunches and refreshments on both days of the event, and complimentary entry to all exhibitor workshops.
WWEM Organiser Marcus Pattison says, “Visitors to the inaugural WWEM event in 2005 were charged an admission fee, whichmeant that attendees were mainly from middle and senior management levels. However, the
purpose of WWEM is to bring together the whole testing and monitoring sector, so free entry is now available to everyone that pre-registers.”
“WWEM was created to provide the latest regulatory, MCERTS and technological news in conjunction with help and advice for everyone involved with the testing and monitoring of water and wastewater. That includes staff at every level within regulators, water companies, industrial manufacturers, consultants, education, researchers,
process engineers and laboratory analysts.
The first WWEM took place in 2005 and since that time the number of visitors has quadrupled. I believe that is because WWEM is a specialist event catering to a well-defined audience and because it is a working event – it is hard work for all of the participants because there is so much to see and do.”
WWEM 2008 is comprised of Conferences, Workshops and an Exhibition. It will run on both 5th and 6th November with a Gala Dinner and MCERTS Awards evening on 5th November. Conference and Workshop subjects
will be repeated on both days.
In addition to the monitoring of water, WWEM 2008 will also address new MCERTS schemes for both laboratory water analysis and soil sampling/testing.
