Sensortechnics’ (Germany) new KTE8000CS submersible pressure transmitters offer precision hydrostatic level measurement for pressure ranges from 2.5m water column (250mbar). The KTE8000CS series is based on very accurate and long-term stable ceramic pressure cells with excellent media compatibility. The sensors are enclosed in glass reinforced PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) plastic housings and are ideally suited for use with corrosive and aggressive media. The KTE8000CS series offers very competitive pricing for high-volume applications.
Due to its narrow outside diameter of only 24 mm, the rugged KTE8000CS level sensors easily fit into small-diameter probe tubes and tanks with small apertures. The transmitters are temperature compensated and supply a 4...20 mA output signal.
Barometric pressure influences on the liquid level are compensated through a vent tube to the sensor element. Sensortechnics can also provide very fast and flexible mechanical or electronic sensor modifications for the KTE8000CS series based on customer specific requirements. Important features of the new KTE8000CS series are: Level ranges from 0...2.5m water column (0…250mbar) Full Scale, Ceramic pressure cells with excellent media compatibility, Highly chemical resistant PPS plastic housings, Custom mechanical or electronic sensor modifications.
These new KTE8000CS submersible level probes are especially suited for salty, spring and waste waters and other highly corrosive and aggressive media. Typical applications include water level measurement, level control of tanks as well as level measurement and control of liquid supplies.
