The Mainstream (UK) Ultrasonic Area-Velocity flowmeter from for permanent installation has proved itself to be one of the most reliable and efficient open channel flowmeters available on the market today. Reliability, high performance and quick and easy installation means that
Mainstream ultrasonic areavelocity flowmeters are finding wide application internationally.
For flow measurement in open channels and part-filled pipes, with liquids from clean water to raw sewage, the Mainstream Permanent flowmeter with basic and 4:20 mA output options, provides the highest quality performance at the most competitive price.
Optimal performance is maintained by a processor embedded in the submerged probe which adjusts operation according to the prevailing conditions. The probe may be located up to 500 metres from the system unit and measures flow velocities from less than 10mm/S up to 5m/S.
The system unit displays liquid level, flow velocity, flow rate and totalised flow.
Analog outputs transmit flow information and opto-isolated switches can activate alarms or operate samplers. The integral data logger, with recording intervals from 30 seconds to 60 minutes, has the capacity to store up to 250,000 measurements for graphing or analysis. Easy to use PC software simplifies commissioning and product support. Features include a point-and-click graphical interface to specify predefined
or non-standard pipe and channel cross-sections. Effluent monitoring; waste water treatment; industrial flow measurement; irrigation channels; river/stream flow measurement and water distribution are among a few of the applications where the Mainstream flowmeter may be used.
