ProMinent Fluid Controls (UK) offers a comprehensive range of dosing tanks and bunds and storage tanks for a myriad of chemical dosing applications, including waste water, electroplating, drinking and process water treatment and swimming pools. Cylindrical dosing and storage tanks are manufactured from UV-stabilised polyethylene and are available in a wide range of standard sizes. Custom-built cylindrical and rectangular storage tanks are also available in polyethylene and polypropylene.
Dosing tanks are available in seven sizes from 35 – 1000 litre capacities and in natural colour/transparent, black, blue, yellow and red. Black is particularly suitable for storing light sensitive chemicals. The different colours increase safety by enabling easy identification of different chemicals. All tanks have a scale for litres and US gallons and have threaded bushes for the mounting of ProMinent precision dosing pumps and manual or electric stirrers. Stackable bunds are also available in UV-stabilised polyethylene in all colours and sizes to match the tanks. A range of standard storage tanks is also available which can be used for chemicals that must not come into contact with water. These polyethylene tanks are manufactured to the TÜV § 191 WHG standard. They are available in 16 sizes from 500 – 12000 litre capacity or 25000 litres on request, along with the appropriate bunds.
The tanks are available complete with monitoring accessories, level control, filling, heating, discharge and metering facilities.
For applications where system or space requirements prevent the use of standard tanks and bunds, ProMinent can offer a customised solution with welded cylindrical or rectangular polyethylene or polypropylene tanks.
In addition, other equipment such as salt-dissolving baskets, sack-pouring equipment, adsorption containers, angled and hopper bases can be added to improve or enhance the tank functions.
