Looking for a cost effective pump to manage both your conventional and low flow sampling groundwater monitoring requirements?  Waterra-In-Situ (UK) has now added the Whale 12v submersible pump range to its inventory.

Available in a choice of single stage, two stage and three stage models, Whale 12v submersibles allow pumping from depths between 12m and 27m in 50mm, and larger, monitoring boreholes .

With an intermittent pumping cycle (15mins on: 5mins off), these British designed and produced pumps, give a motor life duty cycle of approximately 100 hours.  They can be combined with the WaSP F1 Flow Controller to provide low flow sampling capability.

Waterra-In-Situ Managing Director, Jon Trelfa, thinks that they will be a popular item: “The Whale 12v range complements our SS Geosub and WaSP  pumps by offering a practical compromise between price and performance.  It’s perfect for ‘low stress’ applications.”

All Whale 12v submersible pumps come with the appropriate cable length to suit their maximum rated depth.  All you need to do is choose the suitable length of LDPE discharge tubing.
