The Model FCL free chlorine system from Emerson Process Management (USA) measures free chlorine in fresh water. The Model FCL doesn’t use expensive sample conditioning systems or messy reagents to control pH. Instead, the analyzer automatically compensates for changes in the pH of the sample using a membrane-covered amperometric sensor.

The FCL is suitable for compliance monitoring when calibrated against a grab sample that has been analyzed using a laboratory test acceptable to EPA. Refer to EPA Method 334.0 for more details.

The FCL uses the Model 1056 dual-input analyser, which offers single or dual sensor input reducing the cost per loop and saving panel space. The large display has easy-to-read process measurements.

The Model 1056 is available with either HART or PROFIBUS DP digital communications.
