Eijkelkamp Agrisearch Equipment (Netherlands) has launched its Global Data Transmitter Multiple. It is a modem that provides end users all over the world with a safe and reliable way to always have continuous data sets. The Global Data Transmitter Multiple has 6 connections for Eijkelkamp e-SENSE sensors and Diver water level loggers. The Global Data Transmitter Multiple was developed for telemetry system users, such as water authorities, government authorities (municipalities) and engineering firms.

Data security was a priority in developing the Global Data Transmitter Multiple. The result is a modem that always delivers a continuous measurement series from the sensor. Eijkelkamp’s double servers take care of this. Should a Global Data Transmitter not reach the server because of a temporary GPRS connection failure, the data sets will be supplemented at the next opportunity. The data is recorded on the logger and it can also be stored on Eijkelkamp’s server. The Global Data Transmitter Multiple communicates via encrypted connections with Eijkelkamp’s servers and, if required, with the customer. The Global Data Transmitter Multiple sends the data to the end user via e-mail, a web portal or directly to existing systems and databases.
