Portable Surface and Ground Water Monitoring
Mar 16 2011
The portable GPS AQUAMETER from AQUAREAD (www.aquaread.co.uk) is designed specifically for use in the field. Its rugged, curvy body sits well in the hand and it is extremely easy to operate, even in the worst conditions. Using its simple and intuitive operating system, full datasets can be logged at the touch of a single button: “We were impressed with its both its simplicity of use and ease of field calibration” RPS group, UK.
Thanks to the GPS receiver within the AQUAMETER, you will always know exactly where your measurements were logged. This allows measurements to be taken from multiple sites, highlighting the instrument’s portable nature. “I love the GPS function – very fast lock and able to get a very solid signal” Enviroequip, Malaysia.
When the AQUAMETER is connected to the AP-1000 AQUAPROBE, 20 different parameters can be recorded: pH, pH/mV, ORP, Optical Dissolved Oxygen (mg/L and % saturation), Conductivity, Absolute EC, Turbidity, Resistivity, Salinity, Seawater specific gravity, Total dissolved solids, Temperature, Depth, Air pressure, Height above MSL, Time, Date, Latitude and Longitude! All AQUAPROBEs are less than 2” diameter allowing them to fit inside 2” bore holes. This instrument when housed in the rugged carry case is the ideal choice for portable surface and ground water monitoring.
