Xylem Analytics (UK), the manufacturer of market leading instrumentation brands such as YSI, SonTek, Aanderaa, MJK and WTW, will unveil an exciting array of new products at WWEM 2014.

The company has booked a double stand at WWEM (104 & 105), one half of which will focus on wastewater monitoring, featuring the new WTW family of spectral sensors that offer highly reliable continuous, chemical-free measurements with no routine service and IQSensorNet compatibility (up to 20 sensors on one digital platform). Designed for rugged long-term reliability with minimal operational costs, these UV-VIS probes are ideal for the detection of load changes in wastewater influent and effluent, and for the monitoring of

organic loads in rivers and lakes.

The other half of the booth will feature a new ‘smart’ digital handheld meter from YSI (using EXO technology) which means that the meters offer a number of advanced features. For example, sensors are able to retain their calibration and thereby save considerable time in the field.

The new SonTek SL 3G for measuring water velocity and level in open channels will also be on display. These 3rd Generation models employ SmartPulseHD technology, which continuously tracks water velocity and profiling range, depth, turbulence factors and signal-to-noise ratio, and automatically selects the optimum processing configuration to maintain high levels of accuracy.
