Wastewater experts are expected to discuss future solutions to the problems of water supplies when they meet during World Water Week next month.
On September 7th 2010, the water/
wastewater experts will present the Future of Global Water Technologies seminar in Stockholm, Sweden, to examine the ways of combating the financial and environmental problems of international water supplies.
It will also look at solutions to improve infrastructure and treatment of
wastewater including the latest water technologies.
Dr Boccaletti, expert associate principal with McKinsey & Company, will explore the problem of the world's water resources.
He is expected to address the requirement for sustainable solutions.
Dr Ruediger Knauf, vice president of research and development for Siemens Water Technologies, is likely to focus on the future of water technology to help improve resource efficiency and boost supply around the world.
Earlier this month, scientists at Stanford University in California concluded that rocket-science technology could help provide a solution to
wastewater by transforming sewage into fuel and energy.
