In-Situ (USA) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Waterra UK Limited, a leading UK groundwater monitoring equipment provider. In-Situ Inc. designs, manufactures, distributes, and rents environmental equipment for monitoring the quantity and quality of groundwater and surface water. The partnership with Waterra adds sales, service, and training expertise in the European groundwater sector to the In-Situ Inc. portfolio.

“The acquisition of Waterra complements our business by giving us the ability to sell affordable, high-quality products and services in both the UK and Europe,” said Bob Blythe, President and Chief Executive Officer of In-Situ Inc.

Peter Dumble, Managing Director for Waterra, will remain as Managing Director of the subsidiary. In-Situ Inc.’s training programs will benefit from his hydrogeological expertise.

“As part of In-Situ Inc., we will be able to significantly broaden our product range and services to our UK and Irish customers and expand our offerings further into Europe,” said Peter Dumble. “This is a great match of businesses and one that will bring new and exciting opportunities to our staff and customers alike.”
