Contract Signed for New Gas Detection Book

The Council of Gas Detection and Environmental Monitoring (CoGDEM) has signed a contract with science publisher ILM Publications to compile a comprehensive guide to all aspects of industrial gas detection.

The book, entitled ‘The CoGDEM Guide to Gas Detection’, will be edited by CoGDEM director, Leigh Greenham (pictured first left), with feature chapters contributed by key experts in the field. Topics to be covered include installation standards, detector selection, calibration and testing, regulations, and useful case studies will be featured throughout.

Michael Pattison (pictured middle), Managing Director of ILM Publications, signed the contract at WWEM 2010. The new book will be launched at WWEM 2012, taking place in Telford, UK, on 7th–8th November 2012.
