Figaro Engineering Inc. recently launched the lead-free galvanic cell-type KE-LF series oxygen sensors for use in safety, environmental (combustion gas monitoring), food and educational applications. The KE-LF Series consists of the KE-25LF and KE-25F3LF, these unique galvanic cell-type oxygen sensors, which were developed by Maxell, Ltd. in Japan, are lead-free and have a long-life expectancy of around 5 years in ambient air, excellent chemical durability and no influence from CO2, H2S or SO2  The dimensions of these new sensors are the same as existing KE series oxygen sensors, facilitating quick and simple replacement of current KE series oxygen sensors onsite.

These sensors require no external power source, or warm-up time and are RoHS2 compliant.

Figaro will be launching more innovative new products in the near future; the KE-25F3LFM (0~100% O2 range), KE-12F3LF (Quick response), and KE-50LF (10 year life) will be available to the market soon.
