Stand 108 at WWEM this year will see the UK’s inaugural debut of the new Lovibond® VIS and UV/VIS spectrophotometer series, the XD 7000 and XD 7500. These spectrophotometers are reference beam-instruments representing the newest advancements in the industry.
The XD series has been made as easy to use as possible with barcode recognition for all Lovibond® methods; Automatic detection of Tube Tests, sample vials and path lengths. These steps help to ensure the easiest operation with no compromise in accuracy and reliability.
Standard built in procedures for Analytical Quality Assurance support the user with three levels of quality checks: Instrument and Optics; Method calibration; Sample Matrix effects. The instruments support password security and allows up to three different access levels - all to assist a demanding laboratory environment.
Additional functions of these spectrophotometers include: measurement of transmission and absorption, spectra-scan, kinetic analysis, detailed graphical representations of curves, and the simple but comprehensive preparation and implementation of user-defined methods using various wavelengths. All instruments are equipped with a bright colour display and enable both data management and updates via different interfaces (USB and Ethernet).
These instruments are all supported by the new Lovibond® Handbook of Methods comprising all the existing 155 Lovibond® methods, describing each in detail, with step-by-step pictorial instructions. Visit stand 108 to view a copy.
