Certification Sucess at WWEM 2010

As the chosen partner of the Environment Agency to run the MCERTS certification schemes, Sira provides test, assessment and auditing services for both manufacturers and operators to fulfil their environmental responsibilities.

WWEM 2010 Review

At WWEM 2010, the focal point over the 2 day show was MCERTS. A number of announcements were made at the WWEM Gala Dinner detailing products that

have obtained MCERTS certification, and those manufacturers that wish to promote they are progressing through the MCERTS certification scheme.

WWEM Conference

Bob Cooper, Sira Director, discussed the progress to date on the MCERTS effluent flow scheme at the main conference. The emphasis of the presentation

focussed on the strong need for maintenance of flow monitoring systems, which has been highlighted as one of the most common problems across the >3000 sites that have been inspected under the self-monitoring of effluent flow scheme. More details on the conference paper are available on request.
