The need for pH electrode for particular applications is growing, as many users of pH Meters find the standard combination electrode supplied with their meter is not suitable for a particular application.
SENTEK has successfully grown their business because not only do they offer a standard range of probes for various applications, but are prepared to make probes to suit a customers needs.
A good example of a probe which is successfully used for the measurement of beer, blood products, cosmetics, dairy products, paint, and micro samples is the P13 (illustrated). This has a 90 x 4.5mm dia stem, and is also available for NMR use in a 180 x 4mm stem. It has a range of 0-14 pH, with a temperature range of 0-80oC. It has a ceramic frit junction.
