Small Form Factor Laser Diode Modules

LASER COMPONENTS’ (UK) FP-Mini series of laser diode modules is designed for the compact system builders. The FP-Mini is only ø8x15mm in size and still delivers the high quality beam of our standard FLEXPOINT laser diode modules. The series is available in either 635nm or 650nm, and with optical powers of 1mW or 4.9mW. The module is housed in a potential-free black anodised aluminium housing and has integrated surge, voltage peak, and reverse voltage protection circuits.

The modules are available with optional power features such as modulation and optical power adjustment using a control wire. The focus of the module is adjusted by two grub-screws located on the front of the module, and enables you to focus the beam to a set distance or collimate it for a variable working distance.
