KNF Neuberger (USA) announces the launch of SIMDOS 02 fine dosing/metering pump, which delivers 0.03 – 999 ml dosing volumes, and a flow rate ranging from 0.03 – 20 ml/min.

Boasting simple, intuitive operation, SIMDOS 02 is adaptable to fluid characteristics, making it ideal for a variety of liquid applications. Simultaneously, its splashproof IP65-rated housing protects the pump from water and dust intrusion, contributing to its excellent long-term stability and consistent reliability. Following calibration, repeatability is +/- 1 percent (full range).

Scientists can choose from several head materials to optimise the pump for use with mild to aggressive/corrosive liquids. Available head materials include: PTFE, PP, PVDF or Stainless Steel.

SIMDOS 02 is safe to run dry, is self-priming up to 6.6 ft. water, is effective against pressures of up to 85 psig, and transfers viscous media up to 500 centistokes. Integrated software permits the transfer parameters to be modified for a range of different viscosities at the touch of a button. Providing users with various control options, SIMDOS 02 combines a small footprint with modular design.

Fields of applications include chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry, pharmaceutical, adhesives and glue, polymers and polymer coatings, food technology research, and detergents.
