JEOL have recently launched latest addition to their mass spectrometer product line with the introduction of thier new GC-triple quadrupole mass spectrometer system. Jeol officially introduced the new JMS-TQ4000GC at the Pittcon Conference in March.

The JMS-TQ4000GC has the fastest Selected Reaction Monitoring (SRM) switching speed in the industry at 1,000 channels/sec. This high throughput GC-MS/MS has both high sensitivity and ultra-high speed as a direct result of Jeol’s patented short collision cell which is capable of both rapid ion accumulation and instantaneous ejection.

The JMS-TQ4000GC is exactly the right instrument for the rapid, accurate measurement of trace residual pesticides in agricultural materials as well as trace levels of regulated chemicals in water. This instrument also greatly simplifies the quantitative analysis of persistent environmental pollutants such as dioxins and PCBs.
