Solid phase extraction (SPE) has become very popular and is permitted for many environmental methods. However when it is used manually, variability may be introduced.

Minimise variability, decrease solvent usage and meet the most stringent regulatory requirements with automation. SmartPrep from Horizon Technology (USA) is compatible with most 1-, 3- or 6-mL cartridges.

System Capabilities: Rinses sample container; Modular and scalable; 1-8 systems from one PC; Small footprint; Fractionation of Up to 4 fractions per sample; Independent methods can be used for each sample; Process up to (12) samples and supports 1-8 reagents per module; Pre-written library of US EPA Methods; Simple data export; Reagent volume calculator that predicts usage.
