Quantitech Appointed Distributor for Advanced Trace Detection System
Jul 02 2011
Following a signing ceremony at this year’s Counter Terror Expo, TeknoScan Systems of Canada has appointed Quantitech (UK) as exclusive Distributor for the UK and Ireland. The agreement covers TeknoScan’s highly advanced trace detection technology for the detection of banned substances via aspiration.
Keith Golding, Quantitech Managing Director, says he is delighted with the agreement, adding: "TeknoScan’s technology represents a major advance in the fight against terrorism and organised crime, and has enormous potential in the UK market. Trials are already underway and we are currently in the process of introducing this equipment to those responsible for the detection of banned substances in cargo, on individuals, and in other locations."
Commenting on the agreement with Quantitech, TeknoScan Systems Vice President, Larry Wardrop says: "The UK market is critical to the success of this technology in Europe and beyond, so we are delighted to have established a partnership with Quantitech because the company’s staff have the contacts and expertise to ensure that this technology is adopted as quickly and as effectively as possible."
