All for one and one for all! Liquiline M: multi-parameter analytical measurement

Feb 18 2011

Six different parameters, one controller. Sounds clever doesn’t it? Endress+Hauser’s latest
Liquiline M CM442 multi-parameter analytical transmitter with Memosens digital sensor range provides the perfect opportunity to reduce your inventory and stock handling and significantly minimise your plant life cycle costs!

Retaining all the technology you’re familiar with from Endress+Hauser’s previous Liquiline M transmitters such as user-friendly operation, easy-to-read display and robust housings, the CM442 has the additional advantage of being suitable for use with pH, ORP, conductivity, DO, turbidity and nitrate sensors. Indeed, flexibility is king with the new Liquiline/Memosens systems. Available in its most basic form as a 2-sensor input, single alarm relay safe area solution, you can easily expand the system with additional inputs and alarms to something much more powerful. Choose as little or as much functionality as you need – it’s that simple.

Standardisation and uniformity are also key strengths of Liquiline systems. Achieved by implementing the digital Memosens protocol into the fixed cable sensors, all sensors now use the same standardised protocol for total data and mechanical interface compatibility and increased process safety. When used together, any combination of different types of digital sensors, cables, holders and assemblies results in a measurement solution perfectly tailored to your requirements. This modular concept means that Endress+Hauser devices are easily adapted to different applications and requirements, giving you more flexibility across your plant.

A leap forward for maintenance strategies
Based on the successful Memosens digital technology, all sensors can be pre-calibrated under laboratory conditions. Better still, featuring automatic sensor recognition, commissioning and maintenance tasks are simplified - both sensor and electronics replacement is quick and easy, maximising operational capacity. And, should there be a problem with your process, Liquiline will let you know immediately via its automated alarm signal and red display. Any process interruptions are minimised via the clear failure description and clear menu-guided instructions, so you’ll be back up and running as soon as possible!
