Discover Microwave Digestion Made Simple!

Perform acid digestion for trace metals analysis in as little as 10 minutes, including cool down. With full pressure and temperature control of every sample, the Discover SP-D 80 Microwave Digestion System, from CEM Coporation (USA), runs 1 - 2 gram samples with ease. It is capable of temperatures up to 260 oC and can accommodate a wide variety of samples including pharmaceutical, food, plastics, oils, organics, inorganics, metals, and US EPA Methods 3015, 3051, and 3052. The system features individual sample programming, allowing samples with different parameters or methodologies can be run in any sequence. The Discover SP-D 80 utilises 80-mL quartz vessels with easy-to-use, disposable, snap-on caps for which Teflon liners are available to make clean up for samples such as soil, quick and simple. The vessels are available in sets of 6 or 12.

An optional, automated 24-place sample deck allows the system to run unattended overnight. Designed for safety and durability, the compact system can be placed on a benchtop or in a fume hood. CEM’s user-friendly, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software is ideal for pharmaceutical QA/QC testing, showing you at a glance the status of your reaction and providing documented run data.
