Solar Monitoring Stations

The SOLAR1000 data acquisition system from Campbell Scientific (UK) is specifically designed for solar monitoring application and is fully programmable and easily customisable with options for communications, mounting, sensors etc.

Typical applications include solar resource assessment, baseline data collection, and performance monitoring. The SOLAR1000 acts as the single point data gateway for environmental, inverter, and meter data.

Measurements include: air temperature, solar radiation—global horizontal (GH) and plane of array (POA), surface temperature( back of panel), wind speed and direction, precipitation, barometric pressure.
