Histamine is routinely used as an indicator for the presence of scombrotoxicosis in raw fish and fish products. Jenway 62 series fluorimeters are suitable for histamine analysis and can be easily programmed with the settings for this and other similar tests.

The use of Intelligent Filter Modules ensures that the correct excitation and emission filters for the selected test have been fitted; while for more complex tests up to six standards may be used to create an accurate calibration curve.

All Jenway 62 series fluorimeters are compatible with Jenway’s highly successful DataWay software package enabling results and data to be downloaded to a PC, imported to Excel, other spreadsheets or presentation programmes.
