Analytical Technology Defies Market Downturn with Move to New Larger Premises
Nov 12 2009
Specialist electrochemical sensor manufacturer Analytical Technology Inc (ATi) announces that the company continues to expand and moved to new offices in August 2009 to accommodate future growth. The relocation to larger premises in Saddleworth, Manchester comes as a result of the significant success the business has experienced during 2009. Analytical Technology’s expansion and continued success despite the economic downturn reflects the continuing need from the water industry and industrial sector for reliable and effective chemical monitoring systems. The company has had a series of new contract wins during 2009 and has recruited three new staff members to support the growing company.
As Environment Agency regulations become more stringent, water companies and industrial manufacturers must control the levels of chemicals in effluents, river water and drinking water supplies. Through working with top UK water authorities and major manufacturers, Analytical Technology has become the de facto UK company for chlorine monitoring. The company also continues to develop its product range for measuring a wide range of substances in water including pH, turbidity, ammonia and dissolved oxygen.
Through relocating to the newly built space at Gatehead Business Park in Saddleworth, Analytical Technology will double its office and warehouse space. The new premises will accommodate the growing team,
including the newly appointed service engineer, calibration engineer and administration assistant. The company also plans to appoint two further members of staff during 2009.
“We have experienced a busy year in 2009, continuing to grow the business despite the global economic climate,” comments Dr. Michael Strahand, General Manager Europe at Analytical Technology. “Through a focus
on reliable monitors, innovative technology and excellent service, we have built up a significant installation base which we will continue to grow. As a result, we have doubled our team in the last two years and the new premises will provide an ideal base for continuing this rate of expansion.
