New Automated and Portable Calibration Gas Generator

AlyTech has launched a unique engineered product combining zero air generator, dual oven permeation device and accurate diluter into one compact instrument called PerMix ATMO. This is cost effective solution for environmental market designed for on-site calibration and linearity checks of toxic gas detectors, automated measuring systems (AMS) monitoring emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants such as NO2, SO2, CO, BTEX, H2S, other gas analysers and chromatographs.. The PerMix ATMO is also an ideal solution to generate calibration gas or mixtures of unstable or reactive compounds that are typically not available in cylinders.
Self-contained device was designed for field use in mobile labs, stationary or remote locations. It doesn’t require any compressed gas cylinders; offering convenience of use, saving space, cost and removing safety hazard.
High accuracy and reproducibility in generating calibration gas at variable concentrations make the PerMix an accomplished tool, with solid metrological performance.
This all-in-one portable device contains all components to assure complete autonomy of operation. Even during transportation the PerMix ATMO maintains operation conditions using its own rechargeable battery power source: ovens are maintained at the temperature and purified air flow constantly sweeps the permeation tubes. When arriving on site just 2 to 3 minutes are necessary to stabilise the setpoint and calibration can be fulfilled without delay significantly saving the operator time compare to the traditional method.
Having dual permeation chambers with adjustable temperature setpoint and individually regulated flow, the PerMix ATMO offers unparalleled versatility. Compatible with most permeation tubes available on the market, the instrument can be used to generate complex multicomponent calibration mixtures and built-in diluter with a dilution factor up to 1:100 provide wide range of concentrations and output flow up to 3000NmL/min.
Equipped with a large touch screen and user friendly software the instrument operation is simple. The device keeps in memory a library for permeation tubes with their serial number and certified uncertainty. The software allows flexible programming of the calibration sequences by defining oven temperature, flow, dilution rate, number of repeats as required.
For example to assess the linearity of an analyzer in full measuring range a set of six concentrations: 80%, 40%, 0%, 60%, 20% and 95% can be pre-configured in the software and saved as a test sequence. For a repeatability check, three concentration levels (zero, 95% and national calibration concentration) are programmed with necessary number of repeats. When connected to the analyser, the unit will generate complete calibration program fully automatically without operator intervention.
