Free guide to help implement ISO 14001
Jan 17 2020
Alcumus ISOQAR has launched a guide to help organisations considering the implementation of the ISO 14001 international standard for Environmental Management Systems.
Steve Stubley, Technical Director at Alcumus, explains: “Interest in environmental issues has risen sharply recently and organisations are looking to implement best practice. Clients who have implemented ISO 14001 find that not only does their environmental performance improve, there are also significant financial benefits from energy savings and waste reduction.”
However, some organisations are hesitant about implementing an ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System because of the apparent complexity of the ISO standard.
Alcumus ISOQAR has responded by producing a Guide to the Requirements of ISO 14001. It is a plain English guide to the official ISO standard. It provides a clause by clause breakdown, explaining the requirements in jargon-free language with useful hints and tips.
