Agilent Technologies Inc. (USA) introduce the 1200 Series High Performance Autosampler SL plus (+), typically delivering the lowest carryover and highest precision of any autosampler on the market.
Providing carryover as low as 0.004 percent, the new 1200 Series High Performance Autosampler SL+ is well-suited for increasingly sensitive high-throughput LC/MS applications. The unit uses a unique flow path design to achieve this low carryover and features a typical precision of less than 0.5 percent from 2-5ul and less than 0.7 percent from 1-2ul.
“We set out to design the best-in-class LC/MS front end ever, for the maximum in separation efficiency and sensitivity in demanding applications such as pharmaceutical discovery, environmental analysis and the life sciences,” said Georges Gauthier, Agilent LC productmanager. “With near-zero carryover, we think we’ve succeeded. This complements the highly flexible 1200 Series Rapid Resolution Liquid Chromatography (RRLC) System, known for its unique capability to switch between ultra high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) capability of RRLCmode and conventional HPLCmode.”
