Hundreds of thousands of individuals in many different industries are working every day in high dust environments, and therefore are at risk of inhaling potential health damaging toxins, most notably silica

Thankfully, through the use of real-time dust monitoring technology organisations no longer have to run the risk of jeopardising employee health. Instead they can invest in the long-term wellbeing of employees through accurate and immediate information about the levels of dust in hazardous working environments.

The new Trolex AIRXD dust monitor allows you to instantly detect the precise concentration or PM size composition of airbourne dust so that you can take appropriate action to stay safe and to ensure your personnel are fully protected from dust related health hazards.

The unit is highly accurate (up to 5-times more accurate than the existing technologies currently in use), and extremely rugged. Due to the unique low-flow design, no pumps or filters are required. It functions well even in extreme environments, such as high humidity and dirty atmospheres.

Using real-time information for dust monitoring in hazardous work environments will go a long way towards minimising employee exposure, reducing employee time off work and negating the risk of legal action in the future.
