Dust monitoring
Highly advanced dust sensors to be showcased at CEM 2023 in Barcelona
Jul 17 2023
B3 System’s dust sensors will be on show at the upcoming CEM 2023 Exhibition taking palce in Barcelona. They are among the most advanced on the market, providing state-of-the-art bag leak detection and dust monitoring, along with filter performance monitoring, advanced particulate measurement, and QA/QC checks. B3’s Dynamic Induction™ (DI) sensing technology continuously assesses the alternating current (AC) generated by dust particles in an air stream, avoiding the challenges resulting from standard direct current (DC) measurement. This technology provides advanced signal processing and filtering, eliminating outside noise and monitoring only the relevant signal portion generated by the dust.
Four independent sensor ranges deliver both maximum resolution and accuracy in every B3 sensor, yielding the broadest dynamic operating range of any dust sensor on the market. B3 sensors are the only ones that continually verify each input channel's status. In addition to utilising standard industrial communication protocols, each sensor can calculate up to three rolling averages of dust readings as well as relevant alarm status for each channel. B3 sensors are designed and equipped to integrate both simply directly into any existing facility PLC/DCS, providing accurate digital readings, with patented rod isolation checks and automated electronic drift checks as standard advanced QA/QC features.
