INTELLITECT WATER (UK) has announced the appointment of David Miles, a specialist in disinfection and drinking water quality, to spearhead the company’s business development activity.

Commenting on the appointment, Intellitect CEO Tony Halker says, "David’s career has provided him with a deep understanding of the technology, the applications and the customer requirements that relate to drinking water quality. This puts him in an ideal position to explain the enormous benefits that can be obtained from the continuous measurement of water quality at the point of delivery."

David believes that his time at Thames Water will be of greatest value in his new role, adding: "With responsibility for the management and sales of chlorine dosing and control equipment to the water industry, hospitals, hotels, building services companies and the Ministry of Defence, I am very much aware of the importance of a correct chlorine level and the factors that can affect this. As such, I am extremely excited about the prospect of helping Intellitect to roll out this unique new technology."
