Kipp & Zonen is a high tech company with headquarters in Delft, The Netherlands, founded in 1830. The company is a leading manufacturer of solar irradiation systems and atmospheric instruments with its primary applications in Solar Energy and Meteorology. The company has a global market leading position in these product market combinations. Its products are among others used for determining solar plant performance, measurements of solar irradiance, far infrared irradiation and atmospheric properties such as ozone concentrations.

With subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and the USA, the company has developed into a global market leader in pyranometers. It is considered a product leader for the solar energy industry, where its products are regarded as an industry standard.

Kipp & Zonen will operate as one of the operating companies of Hach, a group of companies active in the measurement of water quality and quantity, hydrology, meteorology, air quality and telemetry.
