Recognising excellence in air and water monitoring

In October, WWEM and AQE delivered the UK’s largest and most comprehensive event for environmental monitoring. Held at the NEC Birmingham, these co-located events provided an unparalleled platform for industry professionals to explore cutting-edge technologies, foster meaningful connections, and celebrate innovation. 

On the first day, these events honored outstanding achievements in water and air quality monitoring, spotlighting innovation and impactful solutions in the field. Winners were selected by popular vote across the industry, with input from a specialist panel of judges. As one of the largest meetings for the environmental monitoring sectors, these award winners have demonstrated achievement at the highest level, meeting needs and pushing boundaries in the direction that industry itself feels is needed. The winners are: 

Air and Emissions Monitoring Awards 

  • Best Air Quality Network Monitoring Award:

Water Monitoring Awards 

  • Best Supplier and End-User Partnership: 
    Badger Meter – Monitoring rising mains: A Case Study of Anglian Water 

  • Best Supplier Service – Digital or Instrument Supplier: 
    GWF – GWF SONICO® EDGE for accurate flow metering in complex installations 

  • Most Innovative Instrument Product or Digital Solution:

  • Smart Network Monitoring Award: 
    Xylem Water Solutions UK Ltd – Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua
