Impartial Air Measurement and Standardisation Advice at AQE

The National Physical Laboratory (UK) is the UK’s National Measurement Institute and a world-specialist centre of excellence in developing and applying the most accurate standards, science and technology available. They provide impartial measurement and standardisation advice to regulators, policy makers, instrument manufacturers, plant operators and emissions / air quality monitoring service providers. National Physical Laboratory (NPL) works closely with all the key stakeholders in the emissions monitoring and air quality communities ensuring they understand the underlying needs of the industry and the issues customers are facing.

Dr Marc Coleman, Senior Research Scientist in NPL’s Environmental Measurements Group will be running a workshop at AQE on ‘Assessing the Long-Term Performance of the UK Emissions Monitoring Industry from Anonymised NO, SO2 & Particulate Proficiency Testing Data’.
