Accurate Measurement of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR)
Dec 22 2010
Kipp & Zonen (The Netherlands) proudly presents the latest development for light measurement in agronomy and horticulture: the PQS 1 PAR Quantum Sensor. An improved and user-friendly instrument for the measurement of Photosynthetically Active Radiation. PAR is the part of the light spectrum which plants use for growth processes and is an important parameter for horticultural and forestry applications.
PQS 1 features a much improved responsivity, providing an excellent match with the ideal PAR response. This significantly increases the measurement accuracy over the previous PAR Lite and rivals the best comparable instruments.
The PQS 1 PAR Quantum Sensor is designed to provide accurate, continuous measurement of PAR outdoors or indoors. The rugged construction makes it well protected from harsh weather conditions around the world and from exposure to for example pesticides.
