Water quality monitoring
The new Hyperion32 from Teledyne Valeport Water will make its debut at WWEM on stand WW-Q12. This latest addition to the environmental sensor manufacturer’s trusted Hyperion range of high-performance optical instruments is designed specifically for inland water and shallow marine environments.
Delivering precision measurements for a whole range of parameters in a compact and robust package, the Hyperion32 is depth-rated to 50 meters, offering a cost-effective alternative for users who don’t require the deep-sea capabilities of the standard Hyperion range.
The Hyperion32 can detect and measure a variety of environmental and water quality indicators: Chlorophyll a, Phycocyanin, Fluorescein, Sulforhodamine B, Rhodamine WT, Crude Oil, fDOM, and Turbidity.
Presented in Teledyne Valeport’s signature corrosion-resistant titanium housing, the Hyperion32’s streamlined 32 mm diameter delivers a lighter, more compact, user-friendly form, making it ideal for a broad range of water quality monitoring applications where space and ease of deployment are key considerations.
Highly effective as a standalone sensor or as part of a multi-sensor array with a data logging system, the Hyperion32 features an integral cable and a snag-free design which reduces drag and simplifies recovery.
A practical solution for professionals who require precision and reliability, without investing in deep-sea capabilities they don’t need, the Hyperion32 is a versatile flexible sensor ideal for a wide range of users, including: environmental monitoring, academic research, agriculture, municipal water management, industrial compliance, conservation, aquaculture, and civil engineering – anywhere precise shallow water data collection is essential.
Established in 2020 as part of the renowned Teldyne Valeport group, Teledyne Valeport Water designs and manufactures instrumentation for hydrological and hydrogeological investigation, drinking and surface water monitoring and waste and industrial water industries.
Visitors can explore Teledyne Valeport Water’s sensors, including the new Hyperion32, on the Teledyne Water stand WW-Q12 at WWEM, where Teledyne Valeport Water joins other Teledyne companies in showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of integrated water monitoring solutions.
