Gas Clip Technologies (USA) is a manufacturer of single and multi-gas detectors using innovative technology to reduce the cost of ownership for users. The company introduced the Multi Gas Clip portable multi gas detector for use in confined spaces and other industrial applications.The MGC instrument utilises advanced photometric driven IR sensing technology for the detection of LEL levels of combustible gases and electrochemical sensing technology for H2S, CO and O2. It will run a minimum of 2 months without having to be recharged and only requires calibration in 6 month intervals. The IR LEL sensor is immune to catalytic bead poisons and will operate without oxygen in inert environments. One button operation makes it easy to use and the polymer coated housing canwithstand significant field application abuse. The company also offers portable docking stations for bump test and calibration requirements. The docks can bump test 4 instruments at once in 20 seconds.
