These chemicals are widely recognized for their potential adverse health effects and environmental impact, leading to increased regulatory scrutiny and monitoring. Analysing PFAS is challenging due to their complex structures, diverse sources, resistance to degradation, and prevalence at low concentrations in various matrices (water, soil, biota, etc.), requiring multiple specialist instruments to arrive at an accurate assessment.
