A gas warning device as a part of the personal protective equipment has to warn its carrier about hazardous gases at all times. Today, absolute reliability, durability and cost efficiency is of high importance. The compact and safe GfG multi-gas warning devices Microtector III G888 and Polytector III G999 meet these highest demands.

In case of hazardous gas, the G888 and G999 warn with an acoustic alarm of 103dB. The display turns green, yellow or red to identify if the carrier is in a safe or even in a dangerous environment.

To intake gases out of inaccessible areas the internal sampling pump can be activated by sliding up the diffusion barrier of the G999. The digital pump assistant shows the user the flow rate in addition to the sucked distance through the sampling tube.

Wireless Options

The new G888 and G999 are optionally equipped with a wireless data transfer module and a man down alarm. The 868 MHz frequency band has a range up to 700m (in free field) and the 915 MHz frequency band has a range up to 300m (in free field).

The gas values and alarms can be transmitted e.g. to a PC. For monitoring G888 or G999 carrier in hazardous areas a supervisor can use the mobile and Ex- approved GfG-Link.

It is possible to transmit and receive messages and instructions onto the display of the G888 and G999 from the GfG-Link or a PC.

To train users in dangerous situations an instructor can optionally trigger gas alarms onto the G888 and G999 display.

Up to five sensors for different toxic and combustible gases as well as for oxygen can be built in the G888 and G999. Therefore, up to eight different measurement tasks can simultaneously be mastered with the new GfG devices.
