PPM Technology’s latest monitoring system the Wireless IAQ Profile PPMonitor enables simple, effective and flexible management of Indoor Air Quality. It is designed to monitor in real-time of Temperature, Humidity and up to 6 other different IAQ parameters, including but not limited to; Formaldehyde, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, TVOC, Nitrogen Dioxide and Ozone.

The monitoring system communicates via the sophisticated and reliable ZigBee wireless mesh network allowing the user to control several wireless PPMonitor units. The wireless network can be easily extended, by adding repeater nodes or additional PPMonitor units acting as repeaters. The manager PC receives information from each unit. The data is then displayed graphically using the PPMonitor software programme. Other features are also available using the PPMonitor software, including the ability to pre-set a number of different exposure levels to trigger when limits are exceed. These could be used as warnings only or to control 3rd party systems such as ventilation systems via dedicated wireless relay units.

A number of different sensor configuration are available within the PPMonitor Units, including the Mini series, where a combination of up to 5 parameters are possible with temperature and humidity the minimum requirement.

Target industries and applications for the Wireless IAQ Profile Monitor include; Medical Care, Industrial Safety, Sick Building Syndrome, Air Conditioning system management and Building Management.
