PPM Technology Ltd (UK) is pleased to announce their latest range of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring instruments - the PPMonitor range. The PPMonitor has been designed to give a good visual representation of indoor air quality in a building. A great number of units may be networked together to show precise changes in concentration of selected IAQ parameters over time for an entire building.
Each unit can monitor temperature and humidity as well as up to 5 different IAQ target gases including formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, VOC’s, ozone, ammonia and many more. The user can control, run and view the real time monitoring of several different wireless sampling units from a PC –all communicating together by the sophisticated and reliable ZigBee mesh system.
PPMonitor software enables the data to be viewed graphically, produce reports and run schedules as well as alarm functions and notifications for effective building management.
A new Touch Screen IAQ Profile Monitor is now available. Readings are stored on the instrument’s internal memory and the user is able to navigate through the software and various sensor options simply by touching the panel. The ‘touch screen’ software allows simple control and navigation; setting up of text-message alerts; viewing the data graphically as well as saving and exporting the data into the PPMonitor software. Remote monitoring is possible via WiFi.
The Carbon Dioxide profile (insert) displays a 9 day actual concentration (blue line) against 8-hour TWA reading (green line).
