Weatherall (stand 38) is pleased to announce the UK launch of the Riken GX-2012 and GX-2012GT ‘Gas Tracer’ at WWEM 2012.

This new instrument is Riken’s smallest personal 5 sensor gas monitor with built in sample pump, weighing only 350g.

The GX-2012 can monitor the standard confined space gases (LEL combustibles, Oxygen content, Carbon Monoxide, and Hydrogen Sulphide), and it can also measure 100% volume Methane, dynamically displaying either % LEL, or % volume with its auto-ranging ability.

The GX-2012GT ‘Gas Tracer’ has an additional Leak Check mode, specifically designed for high sensitivity ppm detection of natural gas (methane) leaks down to 10 ppm, suitable for gas line purge testing and detection of small leaks.

Weatherall Equipment & Instruments Ltd is the exclusive UK distributor for Riken Keiki Co. Ltd. and RKI products. Riken are a world leader in gas detection and sensor technologies. In the 73 years Riken have been supplying gas detection equipment they have sold over 800,000 portable and fixed gas monitors worldwide with annual sales exceeding £164 million.
