In 2018, Uniphos Envirotronic Pvt. Ltd. (UEPL) celebrates its 25thanniversary and a proud legacy of safety and environmental monitoring solutions.

In its efforts to diversify and meet the evolving needs of customers, UEPL has recently developed a new KwikSense digital gas transmitter. This is a field mountable device suitable for the detection and continuous monitoring of hazardous gases at industrial locations like cylinder storage yards, chemical and fertilizer plants, oil and gas sites, steel industries or pharmaceutical plants.

Housed in an explosion proof wall mountable enclosure, the transmitter has a revolutionary design that uses advanced micro-controller and non-volatile memory devices, allowing for enhanced diagnostics and fault analysis.

The smart sensor technology allows for hot swappability of any sensor available, which makes this unit a truly universal transmitter. The KwikSense transmitter is available for a wide range of toxic and flammable gases including many exotic gases. Other features include non-intrusive calibration, three fully configurable relays, digital MODBUS and Analog 4-20 mA outputs, sensor life indicator, bump test mode and counter.

“We believe the continued innovation of these types of technologies will keep UEPL at the forefront of the gas detection industry,” concluded Mr. Shroff. “As we enter the next era of our company’s history, we are confident that we will stay a step ahead of the competition.”
